In the past it often seemed like Wings prospects were rushed and sometimes they burned out in the process or the Wings felt they could always find a good one in free agency so there wasn’t or may not have been as much focus on a measured process in developing the Wing’s own goalie prospects. Certainly drafting them higher is a great place to start.
