Lalonde as well mentioned youth coming up next season. Listening to Yzerman who doesnt want to name names while GR is in a playoff you might think he’d bring up half of GR next season.

He’s certainly bringing up new GR players. That points to current GR players moving on to somewhere. If Yzerman’s planning a big youth movement he’ll need to deal with Wings veterans still under contract in order to move them thus creating more opening for the rookies.

We’ll see soon enough but my guess is he’ll try to create as many openings as he can sooner rather than later.
