I keep hearing about Perron’s great leadership abilities. For that I always think back to the 7 game loss streak where Larkin was out injured. Where was the leadership? From any of our A’s? They disapeared. Time to move on. You can follow that up by giving Raymond an A.

He loves the challenge of holding onto the puck. Unfortunately now that he’s lost some quickness he loses the puck 90% of the time. (becoming an offensive dead end) He also takes lots of bad penalties. I’d take a Sean Monahan over Perron any day. If Yzerman wants this team to improve he should push hard for guys like Monahan and Montour in free agency, not Perron, or Patrick Kane. They need to get heavier. The last two years when Rasmussen went out it really magnified how light this team is.
