I am not sure what offensive wingers are available. Who is out there? Many teams are locking up their young players including wingers. Why not be glad to have both? They are not winning some games without Raymond along with Seider.

People like to lump Raymond and Seider together but Seider is by far the Red Wings most valuable young player. Small, offensive wingers are commonly available but franchise defenseman like Seider are never on the market so locking him up for 7 years is huge. Great work by Yzerman. Now put an A on his jersey.
