I think Carter Mazur will be first of them to make the Wings. He plays the most North American style. Kasper struggled the first half of the year, but was much better the second half. Danielson is a fine prospect but will probably start the year with the Griffs. That is just how the Wings do it. Raymond is the only recent forward to force his way on to the team. I see that continuing. Danielson will learn more playing 20 min a night in all situations in GR. Remember it will be his first time playing against grown men, in their late 20s and 30s, many of them vet guys with NHL experience. He will learn a lot playing against them. I hope to go see him in person.

You think that Edvinsson was the reason they missed the playoffs? Are you serious? You can’t be serious. This is the second post that you have stated that. Interesting how you just so nonchalantly put that out there. You’re gonna struggle, pal.

Any top 5 Wings prospect list that does not have ASP is not worth much.

I think Kasper and Danielson are similar talents but I give the edge to Kasper since he has proven himself in adult/pro leagues and that probably gives him the best chance to make the Red Wings.

I like Danielson more, but I believe another 3-4 months in GRG will fine hone him for his NHL premier. Someone will go down or be traded – then he can shine!

Keeping Edvinsson in GR last year cost the Wings a Playoff spot. He’ll do it again this year.
