Holland road the coattails of a team already stocked with actual deserving Hall of Famers. The only Stanley Cup team Holland built was the ‘08 team. Considering how bad of shape he left the Wings in, how bad he is at retaining draft picks and then actually drafting players capable of playing in the NHL, the horrible negotiations that lead to every player seemingly getting a no trade clause, I wouldn’t want him anywhere near my team. As far as him being a Hall of Fame GM, Lanny and the gang messed the bed on that one.
